Want to redirect from your subdomain to the community URL?
In the video, I've explained how to redirect to the community URL from a subdomain.
Please note:
This is only if your community site is on a subdomain such as community.mydomain.com, and you want to redirect to the community URL: community.mydomain.com/community.
Your hosting support can help you with it.
To implement a redirection from community.mydomain.com to community.mydomain.com/community using .htaccess, you need to configure the .htaccess file located in the root directory of the community.mydomain.com subdomain.
Below is the necessary rule for this redirection:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^community.mydomain.com$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/$
RewriteRule ^$ /community/ [L,R=301]
