Step I follow to presell courses/challenges using SFB and DAP:
For paid courses that I create in DAP (like this course), I presell it using SFB using these steps:
DAP Steps:
1. Create a course in DAP.
2. Setup pricing.
3. You don't have to add any lessons yet.
4. Setup welcome email in DAP. Set expectations. Let users know when the course will be available and the next steps.
5. Setup "access content" button to the first lesson page.
6. Connect the course to your email list in your email platform via DAP automation engine.
SPC steps:
Create a payment button in SPC for the DAP product.
1. Create a course in DAP.
2. Setup pricing.
3. You don't have to add any lessons yet.
4. Setup welcome email in DAP. Set expectations. Let users know when the course will be available and the next steps.
5. Setup "access content" button to the first lesson page.
6. Connect the course to your email list in your email platform via DAP automation engine.
SPC steps:
Create a payment button in SPC for the DAP product.
Send users to a thank you page where you can let them know to check their email for details.
SFB steps:
1. Create a forum in SFB. Use it to presell the course. Use the forum as a sales page.
2. Add a button and connect it to the SPC button link.
3. Also, if it's a public community, use the error message section of this forum as a sales page so not-logged-in members can see this message.
After presell phase is over:
1. Add content/lessons in DAP.
2. Setup your follow-up sequence in your email platform.
3. Update the SFB forum content. Replace the presell message with sales content because now you can use the forum as a sales page. Keep the forum around as long as you need it.
4. Launch the course.
